To generate cardiomyocytes from patient-specific iPSCs, we use a protocol based on the WNT signaling pathway activation (through GSK3\u03b2 inhibition with CHIR99021) followed by WNT repression with IWP2 or Wnt-C59 (Burridge et al., Nat. Methods, 2014).
